{"id":318,"date":"2007-02-20T17:11:41","date_gmt":"2007-02-20T17:11:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scientopia.org\/blogs\/goodmath\/2007\/02\/20\/the-koufax-awards\/"},"modified":"2007-02-20T17:11:41","modified_gmt":"2007-02-20T17:11:41","slug":"the-koufax-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.goodmath.org\/blog\/2007\/02\/20\/the-koufax-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"The Koufax Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> So as many other folks have been pointing out, the Koufax awards have come out <a href=\"http:\/\/koufax.wabanaki.net\/node\/56\">with their &#8220;Best Expert Blog&#8221; nominations<\/a>, and I&#8217;m incredibly pleased to say that GM\/BM was nominated!<\/p>\n<p>In case you&#8217;re not familiar, the Koufaxes are one of the really serious, prestigious web-awards, aimed primarily at the left-leaning blogosphere. <\/p>\n<p> I realize that my chances of actually <em>winning<\/em> are pretty damned slim; on the other hand, since PZ is disqualified because he won last year, that means that the rest of us have a chance. Voting isn&#8217;t open yet, but when it is, I&#8217;ll mention it here. I would <em>really<\/em> like to make a good showing.
