My beloved pup, Nutmeg, died last night. He had pancreatic cancer, which had spread to his lungs, liver, and bones. He finally reached the point where even potent medication wasn&#8217;t enough to relieve his pain enough, so we had to euthanize him. He died with the entire family<br \/>\nthere holding him. I&#8217;ve never known another dog like him; he had the most<br \/>\namazing, wonderful temperament. He was one of the sweetest, gentlest, most loving creatures I&#8217;ve ever known.
